Students study eggs and learn it's what's on the inside that matters.

The week of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Miss Crosswhite's class learned about MLK Jr. and the positive changes he made. Kindergarteners, first graders, and second graders got to participate in a science experiment with eggs where they learned that even though we might not look the same on the outside, we are similar on the inside. They first made observations of the outside appearance of the egg. Then, they made a prediction about what the insides would look like (same or different). The students then wrote a sentence about the eggs. Students learned that it's what's on the inside that matters.

Students crack open eggs.
